As hundreds of thousands of women, men, and children held vigil last night in front of Congress while Argentina’s Senators made history debating the proposed abortion bill, there’s no denying that after an unsurprising but still disappointing result, many will be feeling understandably weary.
We get it, everything hurts, you’re exhausted and stuck at work, and you have an extreme case of fiaca. Tempting as it is to give in, there’s a nearly perfect sunny weekend on the horizon, jam-packed full of fun (read: distracting) things to do. Not only should you be proud that Argentina made the history books last night, but also realize that this is not the end of the road.
Anyway, back to discussing the trivialities of the weekend. Whether you’re looking to indulge a childhood dream of becoming a hip-hop dancer or adopt a new pet, we’ve got you covered. If the stress of the week has truly gotten to you and the only way forward is a a heavy dose of retail therapy, try Feria Juntas for all your purchasing desires. Or, if you need more of a physical stress reliever, check out the Brote Escuela’s free percussion workshop and take out any frustration on the provided drum. Whatever you do, make the most of your finde, kids.
